According to news reports a new Tourism Law(2017) is to be discussed and adopted soon by the Pyithu Hluttaw.
The Law aims to raise the standard of service in various tourism related industries.
The Law, which took more than 2 years drafting, will also include the rights and responsibilities of tourism enterprises and professionals as well as protection for the tourists.
Necessary Rules & Regulations will also follow the adoption of the Law within 90 days it is learnt.
