Myanmar Introduces Green Tourism To Boost Arrivals During Monsoon
Myanmar Tourism Marketing has launched a campaign to boost tourist arrivals during the Monsoon season.
Previously, Myanmar Tourism suffered from a slump in tourist arrivals when it was generally believe that the Monsoon rains make it difficult to travel arond the country.
This new campaign hope to dispel these negative perceptions and speaks of the green scenery that is brought about by the rains around the country, especially at such important tour sites as Bagan and Mandalay.
Some hotels and airlines are even offering discount rates for foreign visitirs visting Myanmar during this Monsoon period.
